Should Software Developers Adjust the Pricing for Local Markets?
Interesting question and one that causes a fair amount of debate. MicroISVs have the advantage of a global market. The Internet has made it easy to penetrate foreign markets. Yet, there is still a significant economic disparity in underdeveloped economic markets. Some developer scale the price of their software accordingly. If you have localized versions this is easy to do. If you the software is only available in a single language it can be difficult to offer localized pricing.
