Description by publisher
SplitWin is a utility for splitting large files into parts and then
merging them back to the original file in the Win3.x environment.
Useful when copying big files to floppy diskettes or transferring files
via e-mail. Each of the chunks has a header containing information such
as the name of the original file, the size, the number of parts into
which the file was cut, and which part of the file the chunk is. This
allows the elimination of errors that are difficult to prevent in the
existing programs used to divide big files. Example: If the original
file name is myfile.abc then the chunks will have names myfile.z00,
myfile.z01,..., myfile.z0n.
Changes: Interface improvements. Change to author e-mail address and
home page.
Special requirements: None.
