The problem: the user cannot run his or her favorite application. One
of the DLLs suddenly has the wrong version number, probably as a result
of the installation of another program. Typically one would reinstall
your favorite application, perhaps loosing a lot of customized options.
The solution: Get InstallFile to replace the wrong version file with
the right version file. The utility exists in two versions: a command
line utility and a Windows dialog based utility. The software can be
run on any computer running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows
NT and Windows 2000.
