FileWrangler lets you view the contents of files while you browse
through the folders on your system. It can view many image formats,
play avi's and wav's, view text or even hexadecimal. An on-board text
editor is ideal for composing short notes, touching up html, or editing
system configuration files. Its Zip features make archiving files as
easy as dragging and dropping files to and from file folders. Plus, you
can also view zip contents, span disks, make self-extracting exe's, add
password protection, etc.
FileWrangler allows you to open several file lists at once, and you can
view files in either tree view or list view modes. The interface may
also be configured to sport document file drawers, which allow you to
only view file types that you actually need to see. FileWrangler also
gives you security options to hide file types, folders and drives from
file manager users, as well as to prevent access to various file
management functions. There are also options to Wipe files on delete,
encrypt/decrypt files, etc. Version for Win 95/98/NT4 also available.
Special requirements: Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups (3.11).
