Description by publisher
A powerful and time-saving addition to Windows Explorer, FileTracer
allows you to instantly locate, list and open files in all the folders
on your hard disk by name, date or type. Uses a unique file catalog
which mirrors the file system and allows files to be found immediately
without scanning the disk. Works like Windows Explorer, but now you can
find and open files by simply typing in the (partial) name rather than
clicking many times to open the folder first.

You can also list files modified in the last x days, weeks or months or
by specific dates. It is also possible to list files of a certain type
even though they may be in many different folders. FileTracer is a
valuable tool if you need to keep track of many files in many
directories, copies, different versions, etc. (A half-full 9GB hard
disk can easily contain 50,000 files, and may take minutes to search by
conventional means).

Special requirements: None.
