FileBridge is an utility to open any file and get access to its content. It extends functionality Windows explorer has been providing by keeping its original functions to open a file which has be associated with a default opener, and furthermore adding functions of smartly opening those files that has no associations.No matter if a file has a predefined opener or not, File Bridge will do the best for you to open it in a most approprate manner.
This new version ( 1.3.1) adds following new features:
Support of 3 different modes for FileBridge to open a file: (1) Automatic Mode ( this is the function stated above); (2) Text Mode ; (3) Binary Mode. This provides a flexibility to let a user customize the program to best fit his/her needs.
Context menu utility regBridge.exe now supports addition of FileBridge to as well as removal of FileBridge from the explorer context menu.
Fix of a bug in building association command line that may keep some files from being opened correctly.
