Different software developers say different things. Should I advertise keywords in Adwords as an advertising medium?
It depends! In order to determine if AdWords is effective you must measure the results, and conversions target the right keywords and monitor on a regular basis. If you are not willing to "learn" the system, hire someone who can do it for you.
If the software is relatively inexpensive and you have to pay premium for clicks for important phrases, adwords may not be a great advertising medium. If the software is expensive and clicks are cheap, AdWords advertising might be a boon. The bottom line is learn the system and measure the results. If you are not willing to learn the ins and outs of AdWords hire someone like Shareware Promotions to do it for you.
